Semaglutide

Our Semaglutide program includes four injections over four-week increments. Usually, treatments last a minimum of three months. However, this can vary based on potential side effects, individual weight loss objectives, and the pace at which weight loss is achieved.

You’ll administer Semaglutide once every seven days to stay on schedule, monitor progress, and prevent adverse side effects.

Healthy Suggestions:

• Drink plenty of water; ideally, you want to build up to 1⁄2 your body weight in ounces daily.
• Eat foods rich in protein, fiber, and healthy fats.
• Eat healthy snacks every 3-4 hours. (This helps if you are experiencing nausea.)
• Avoid eating dinner late in the evening.
• Intermittent fasting (After discussed and approved with your provider).

Things to Avoid:

• Foods high in fat or sugar
• Highly processed foods
• Fried or greasy foods

While semaglutide can be highly beneficial, like any medication, it may cause side effects, including nausea, vomiting, or hypoglycemia (low blood sugar). These symptoms usually improve over time.

When to Notify Your Provider:

Contact your healthcare provider if you experience any of the following:

• Persistent or severe gastrointestinal symptoms (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea).
• Frequent episodes of low blood sugar (hypoglycemia).
• Severe abdominal pain or signs of pancreatitis.
• Noticeable neck lumps or changes in your voice.
• Severe allergic reactions (rash, itching, difficulty breathing).
